Why Three Lakes?
That’s a two-part question. But why is an advertising agency in Chicago called Three Lakes? Our name reflects a combination of metaphor and reality. The metaphor is of the state of mind you experience when you’re in an idyllic, trouble-free setting — the feeling that comes with knowing you’re in good hands and you can relax. The reality is that it’s one of our favorite places in Wisconsin, where we often drop a fishing line into the water and just contemplate. In fact, some of our best ideas come to us up there in the woods.
